In short

To log in to Fish For Singles, go to members.fishforsingles.com/login and use the email address you signed up with. If your password isn't accepted, use the password reset option on the login page. If you're still stuck, contact the members help centre, which handles all account and billing questions.

Members log in at members.fishforsingles.com/login. Bookmark that page. This website, www.fishforsingles.com, is where the guides live; your profile, messages and billing are all in the members area.

Be careful with links in emails or messages that claim to be from Fish For Singles and ask you to log in. Type the address yourself or use your bookmark.

Forgotten your password?

  1. Go to the login page.
  2. Choose the password reset option.
  3. Enter the email address you signed up with.
  4. Open the reset email and follow the link. If it isn't in your inbox within a few minutes, check spam or junk.
  5. Choose a new password you don't use anywhere else.

If you've forgotten which email address you used, try each one you have. The reset email only goes to the address on the account.

Common snags

  • Wrong email address. Many people have two or three. Try the others.
  • Typos and capital letters. Passwords are case-sensitive. Check caps lock.
  • Old saved password. Your browser may be filling in an out-of-date password. Type it by hand.
  • Asked for ID. If you signed up through a VPN or your account has been flagged, you may need to verify your identity with photo ID and a selfie before you can continue. The check is carried out by an outside provider, LEM Verify.
  • Deleted account. If you deleted your account, it can't be logged into. Contact the help centre if you're not sure what happened.

Still can't get in?

Contact the members help centre with the email address you signed up with. Never share your password with anyone, including someone claiming to be support.

Billing and leaving

Not recognising a charge? It appears under the billing name shown at checkout, which may be a network name rather than "Fish For Singles". To stop paying, cancel in Settings > Billing. To leave, go to your avatar > Settings > Delete Account. Our pages on billing, cancelling and refunds and deleting your account explain each step, and how it works covers what's free and what's paid.

I didn't get the password reset email. What now?

Why am I being asked for photo ID?

Sign-ups through a VPN, and accounts that have been flagged, need an ID check with photo ID and a selfie before you can carry on.
